Naser will be a member of the jury of the “Hans von Bülow” International Orchestral Conducting Competition in its First Edition. The competition will be held online and will have as a prize concerts with renowned European orchestras.

The competition realized in cooperation with Dohnanyi Orchestra, Brasov Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica della Campania, Varna Opera. This first edition it is open to musicians of any nationality without age limits.

The application period started on December the 1st 2020 and ended on March the 3rd 2021.

The jury is made by conductors, intendants, and agents representatives of the following institutions: G. Verdi Conservatoire, Milan; Opéra de Nice; Orchestra of the Americas; Brasov Philharmonic Orchestra; Filarmonica della Campania; Varna Opera; Dohnanyi Orchestra.

The competition will be held exclusively online. The awards consist in prizes in cash and concerts in Europe.

HANS VON BÜLOW

Hans Guido von Bülow (Dresden, January 8, 1830 – Cairo, February 12, 1894) was a German romantic conductor, virtuoso pianist and composer. He belonged to the nobility and bore the title of Freiherr (baron). He was one of the famous conductors of the 19th century, and his activity was critical in establishing the successes of the most important composers of his day, including Richard Wagner. He directed the Berlin Philharmonic between 1887 and 1893.
